that is THE best site for video card revie. As you can see, the HD 4770 is much better.
I would say the 4770 is a little better, but if someone was to try both in their computer you probably wouldn’t find much of a difference.
I would just get the cheaper one if its between these 2.
The 4770 will wreck the 9600GT. However, keep in mind that the 4770 goes for around $120 or $110, which is the same price as a GTS 250 or 9800GTX+ which will out perform the 4770.
the radeon one was released a year later, and it supports directx 10.1, but other than that they each have their own strengths and weaknesses. I prefer the geforce myself but in this case it depends on preference.
I can’t really find any performance comparisons. The Radeon is a newer release, uses less power and runs cooler from what I can gather. So if you don’t have a high wattage power supply and don’t want to buy an aftermarket cooler for the GeForce, then the Radeon should be a good choice.
